Design of the certifications

The certification for a specific profile is based on the documentary evidence requested from the applicant. The evidence is assessed on three factors to determine the level of work experience gained in the professional profile, which will be stated as a value between 1 and 10 for positive assessments.

The three factors are:
  • ASC: Assessment of the Suitability of the Competences for the respective profile, based on the evidence of the coverage of the professional activities established for the profile. Positive assessments will receive a real value between 8 and 10.
  • ADP: Assessment of the Duration of Practice of professional activities of the respective profile, based on the documented evidence. Positive assessments will receive a real value between 1 and 5.
  • APS: Assessment of the Previous Studies, based on the accreditation of higher education completed before or during the professional activities of the respective profile. Positive assessments will receive a real value between 0.15 and 3.
The Level of Gained Professional Experience (LGPE) is calculated by weighting the three factors with the following formula:

LGPE = ‖ ASC/10 * ADP * (1 + APS) ‖ <= 10

We currently offer 13 professional profiles, which can be looked up in this section. The range of profiles is going to be extended by including other profiles, which we are currently analysing or designing.
